Itinerary of the Daily Tour to Bartholomew Island and Sullivan Bay

Itinerary Description:
06:00 - 07:00 AM
• Hotel Pick-up: The tour begins with the transfer from your hotel in Santa Cruz to the Itabaca Canal, where we will take the boat. You will be informed of the exact pick-up time at the time of booking.
08:00 AM
• Departure to Bartolomé Island: Once on board, we depart to Bartolomé Island. During the tour, you can enjoy soft drinks and light snacks while our certified naturalist guide provides information about the landscape, fauna, and ecosystem of the islands.
10:00 AM
• Arrival at Bartolomé Island: We will take a walk to the iconic viewpoint of the island, known for its stunning panoramic view of Pinnacle Rock and the volcanic landscapes. The hike includes a series of steps, but the reward upon reaching the top is unmatched.
11:30 AM
• Snorkeling in Sullivan Bay: After the walk, we headed to Sullivan Bay, a place with crystal clear waters and abundant marine life. You will enjoy a snorkeling session where you can swim among tropical fish, sea turtles and, if you are lucky, even observe Galapagos penguins.
01:00 PM
• Lunch on Board: A light and delicious lunch will be served on the boat while you enjoy the natural environment.
02:30 PM
• Return to the Itabaca Canal: After lunch and additional time to relax, we return to the Itabaca Canal
.04:00 - 05:00 PM • Arrival in Santa Cruz and Transfer to the Hotel: Upon disembarking, our vehicles will take you back to your hotel in Puerto Ayora.Recommendations:
• Bring sunscreen, a cap or hat, and comfortable clothing for the tropical climate. • Bring a swimsuit, an extra towel and a change of dry clothes. • Be sure to wear appropriate footwear for hiking in volcanic terrain (sneakers or light boots).
