TOURS ISABELA ISLAND

TUNELES & CABO ROSA TOUR

Swim with giant sea turtles, rays, sharks and sea horses.I think Cabo Rosa Tunnels is the best snorkel you will have in the Galapagos Islands. Start by heading to a rock called the Union a small islet located in the open sea where you can see Pelicans, nazca boobies and blue footed boobies and the occasional sea lion resting on the rocks. After this short stop you will navigate for approximately 45 minutes to reach one of the most beautiful rock lava formations landscapes of the Galapagos Islands, it is called tunnels since in ancient eruptions, the lava passed under the formed land tunnels that then collapsed and gave rise to these arches over the water where you can clearly see vegetation that comes out of the rocks, the crystal clear water, the sea lions flutter between the arches.NOTE: The tour may suffer variations due to the waves you receive that day, the first thing will be for us, the safety of the passengers.

 SIERRA NEGRA VOLCANO HIKE

One of the best short trail routes that can be done in Latin America with active volcanoes. The tour starts early in the morning, you pick up a bus or car to take you to the starting point of the hike, which is 30 minutes from Puerto Villamil and continue along the path that leads to the Sierra Negra volcano. The walk takes about 4 hours and most of the trail is flat, with few ups and downs. Although they give you a lunch, it is necessary to bring at least a liter of water because the sun is very strong and when it comes to return you must have a reserve of water.During the crossing there are five stops: at the beginning there are two to take a panoramic view of the crater of the volcano, one more in the small volcano and two more stops to cool off and eat lunch. When you enter the small volcano, which is inside the crater of the Sierra Negra Volcano, you will realize that it is still active and many holes feel warm when you put your hand. At the end of the tour you arrive at one of the most fascinating viewpoints, where you will surely think that you are on another planet.NOTE: The tour may suffer variations due to volcanic situations, the first will be the safety of tourists.

HALF DAY TOUR TO TINTORERAS ISLAND

Generally after breakfast we will visit the Tintoreras Islet. Short sailing (20 min) starts at the dock aboard a small boat (capacity of 12 people). The islet takes its name from whitefin sharks known as Tintoreras. This is considered one of the most fascinating Galapagos species, in the same area we will find: sea lions, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, crabs (Sally Lightfoot Crab), sea turtles, pelicans and the peculiar Galapagos penguins. This exalted wildlife exhibition will leave us breathless. Then we will move to a sea inlet on the islet for snorkeling, the site is ideal for this activity because a large variety of fish, starfish, sea urchins, stingrays, and the beautiful sharks and sea lions swim on the site. After this unique meeting, we headed to the Isabela pier to finish the tour
